MENOPAUSE
Waning of ovarian Functions and cessation of menstruation in women between 50 and 55 years of age.

LACHESIS 30 C
Heavy woman with blotchy face, purple lips; episodes of hot flashes. A feeling, aggravated by sleep, that neck is constricted; pulsating headaches; feelings of tightness in chest and of heart failure; extremely talkative; jealous; nightmares and dreams involving death.

SEPIA 30 C
Dark-complected woman, sad, dressed in dark clothes; listless, pessimistic, discouraged, emotionally indifferent, drooping of eyelids; feeling of heaviness in pelvic and genital areas; ageing of skin, yellowing, loss of elasticity; disinterested in food.

GRAPHITES 30 C
Obese woman, slow, soft, inactive, indecisive: overly emo-tional; loss of libido; constipation; skin dry and rough.

DOSAGE

PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME (“PMS”)
The group of signs and symptoms, i.e. the syndrome, that accompanies menstruation may include:

• tightness in breasts
  
• heaviness in the pelvic area
  
• irritability
  
• weight gain
  

PULSATILLA 30 CH
Quiet, timid young woman; improves after being shown sympathy; menstrual periods far apart. menses scanty, short and irregular; feeling of heaviness in pelvic [hip] area; leucorrhea [whitish discharge from vulva or vagina].

SEPIA 30 C
Feeling of heaviness in the pelvic area; menstrual discharge black and scanty; heat ‘flashes”; neck feels constricted; whitish discharge from vulva or vagina. Pessimistic outlook; easily discouraged.

NATRUM MURIATICUM 30 C
Thin, overly emotional woman; depression, absence of menses of puberty; menses far apart; dryness of vagina; frigidity absence of interest in sexual intercourse.

CIMICIFUGA 30 C
Frequent, abundant, irregular menses; menstrual pains relieved by “doubling over”; excitation, agitation

DOSAGE
3 granules of selected medication twice per day. Begin a few days before expected onset of menses.

FOLLICULINUM 9 C
3 granules 3 to 4 times per day before onset of flow
3 granules twice pcr day during period of flow

Nervous tension and pre-menstrual depression. Tightness and pain in breasts during second half of cycle. Ileadaches, migraine and worsening of any skin disorder present before onset of flow.

VARICOSE VEINS
Dilated veins; walls of veins have become altered. Even though homeopathy can not make varicose veins disappear, it can slow their progress and reduce their pains

AESCULUS 6 C
Bluish, much distended [stretched] varicose veins on legs; pains in sacro-iliac [middle of lower back and hips] region; excessive number of veins.

CARDUUS MARIANUS 30 C
Painless varicose veins: in patients with liver problems; constipation.
Painful Varicose Veins

HAMAMELlS 6 C
Painful varicose veins, sensitive to touch and readily broken; bluish or purple: easily bruised.

BELLIS PERENNIS 30 C
Venous engorgement in hip region, pains radiating into legs.

DOSAGE
3 granules (each) of selected medication(s); 3 to 4 tImes per day, 20 days per month.
