ABDOMINAL CRAMPS (Colic) Cramping abdominal pains (bellyaches) that arise suddenly, but come and go intermittently, with pain-free periods in between.
COLUBRINA 6 CH NUX VOMICA 6 CH Basic medication, to be used in all instances of stomach cramps.
CHAMOMELLA 6 CH Cramps due to teething; nervous tension. These lessen when infant is being rocked.
NUX VOMICA 6 C Basic medication, to be used in all instances of stomach cramps.
CUPRUM METALLICUM 6 C Intermittent cramps with diarrhea; relieved by drinking cold liquids.
MAGNESIA PHOSPHORICA 6 C Abdominal cramps that decrease when patient puts pressure on abdomen by bending over and applies heat (hot water bottle)
COLOCYNTHIS 6 C Cramps accompanied by rage; lessen when patient bends over.
DOSAGE Combine NUX VOMICA 6 C with the other selected medication. 3 granules of each 3 to 4 times per day until cramping stops.
CHICK POX (VARICELLA) Highly contagious eruptive infection with varicella virus; usually benign. Illness manifested by successive eruptions of crops of vesicles [blisters] that itch intensely.

DIARRHEAS (pediatrics)
CHAMOMILLA 6 C Diarrheas associated with teething; after a temper tantrum; accompanied by abdominal cramps and intestinal gas [bloating]. Infant irritable, moody; demands to be cuddled.
PODOPHYLLUM 6 C Watery stools, painless, but expelled explosively. Gums inflamed: teething. Lying on stomach alleviates discomfort.
MAGNESIA CARBONICA 30 C Greenish, frothy stools with sour smell; sweating: intolerance to milk. DOSAGE 3 to 4 granules of selected medication per day. Lengthen interval when improvement begins.
ENURESIS (BED-WETTING AT NIGHT) Involuntary and unnoticed bed-wetting during sleep in a child over 4 years old.

ERYTHEMA (REDNESS) OF BUTTOCKS Redness due to congestion [accumulation of blood] around anus and on buttocks.
MEDORRHINUM 30 C Basic medication, to be used in all cases.

SULFUR 6 C Skin around anus and on buttocks red; associated with other skin problems: redness of ears, cheeks, bends of joints.

FEVER (Pediatrics) Fever is the predominant sign in all viral and microbial infections of the child. Fever involves other manifestations (how high is temperature? Does patient sweat? EUPATORIUM 30 C Fever higher in morning; overall stiffness: pain around eyes; headaches.
BRYONIA 6 C Fever develops slowly; dry mouth: child thirsts for cold water; headaches of forehead: dry, painful cough; patient does not move; improves with rest. Occurs primarily in active and lean children.

HICCOUGHS (pediatrics) Spastic [sudden, violent] contractions of diaphragm.
CUPRUM METALLICUM 6 C Medication for abdominal cramps and other spasms [sudden, involuntary contractions]. Persistent hiccoughs, temporarily alleviated by sips of cold water.
IGNATIA 30 C Hiccoughs resulting from emotional [affective] shock.

HYPERACTIVITY (pediatrics) Behavioral problem: afflicted infant/child is overactive [constantly moving] and seemingly tireless.
TARENTULA 30 C Violent and disorganized behaviour; child is tireless, overly sensitive [hypersensitive]; displays changeable and often contradictory behaviours; quieted by music.
CHAMOMILLA 30 C Irascible child; violent rages during which child becomes red in face, hits floor, breaks toys and attacks anyone nearby. Tantrums abate when child is cuddled and rocked.

INFANT INSOMNIA (SLEEPLESSNESS) Temporary sleeplessness of nursing infant.

PYROGENIUM 30 C To be taken, in addition to any other medication, in all instances when there is pus present.
SILICEA 30 C Medication for pus producing conditions that tend to recur.

NATRUM CARBONICUM 30 CH Mental lassitude, poor academic results; laziness, poor memory [lack of concentration because of too much studying]. Child is overemotional: timid, trembling, sad; distances self from fellow-students. Headaches accompany even the least mental effort.
NUX VOMICA 30 C Child is overworked, depressed and has a difficult personality: violent, irritable, generally dissatisfied. Sleep is agitated and often interrupted throughout the night; various digestive troubles: anorexia [loss of appetite], stomach cramps.
